I am so excited to introduce the second set in our mini medical series: Cozy Care Clinic - Patch Up Playset! This set includes everything you might need to send your dolls or poseable mini figures for a comfy hospital stay. Set a broken leg or fix a tiny fractured arm, and then settle in for some recovery time. We’ve even provided dinner!
The Patch Up Playset includes:
- Hospital bed with adjustable mattress
- Bedside table
- IV stand with IV bags and attachable drip cuff
- Leg cast
- Arm cast
- Medicine bottles
- Medicine dose cup
- Hospital meal tray
- Plate with warming lid
- Coffee mug with removable coffee insert
- Dessert cup with removable lid insert
- Meal with mashed potatoes, peas, mystery meat and apple
- Large and short-sized crutches
The Cozy Care Clinic is a work-in-progress, with more sets planned and in the works.
Technical Notes
Unlike my other miniatures, which are typically sized down to precise scales, this set is a very loose 1:12 scale. Sized to fit roughly smaller scale figures (1:16 scale or 3/4 scale dolls), the items have been made big enough for play and tested to fit both the larger and smaller figures.
Most of the accessory items can also be used with fashion dolls, but the furniture items would need to be sized up.
Supports and other specifications
- Find our recommended print settings here.
- In the 3MF file, supports and brims have been enabled for all the items that require them. These include:
- Bed mattress: Tree supports, outer brim
- Bed frame: Brim ears, outer brims
- IV stand pole: Sparse Infill Density of 100% for strength (thin parts)
- IV stand base and top: Inner and/or outer brims
- IV bags: Sparse Infill Density of 100% for strength (thin parts) and to allow maximum transparency when printing with transparent PLA
- Crutch parts: Outer brims
- Medicine bottle 1: Outer brim
- Meal tray: Brim ears
- Apple and Mystery meat: Outer brims
No AMS needed for this set, but assembly is required (instructions available below and also on my website).
