Description

THIS IS NOT A FRAME, IT IS A GRIP! Follow your local laws but this is not governed under the same rules as a normal frame/lower due to the FCU being the serialized part. THIS IS ONLY FOR THE ORIGINAL “G19 SIZED” RXM. Long slide version in progress.

RXM Plasticcatto 1.0

After extensive testing and winning 3rd place in the printed pistol division of Gun Makers Match 6, I am pleased to present the final release of the RXM Plasticcatto. It has become my favorite RXM accessory so far.

I included a blank and STEP files in the file pack. Here's a helpful link if you want to make your own texture.

DO NOT PRINT GRIP MODULE IN PETG!!!!

Grip Module should be printed in PLA+ or PAHT-CF even BAMBU PET-CF

Holster and fork should be at least PETG for heat resistance.

Overview & Changes

Gunder_Mifflin adapted MostlyPeacefulMachineShop’s Plasticcatto design to accept RXM components and FCU. I built on that work and refined it further. All non-RXM pins and bolts were replaced with bolts I already had on hand.

The compensator was updated so it now installs without any plate-chamfering—fully plug-and-play. I changed the SCS plate to use M3 hardware, though users with the original version can simply drill out the holes. The printed portion of the compensator was also revised to use the same M3 hardware with captured nuts, improving printability, support removal, and overall assembly. The front compensator bolt was resized for an M3 with a captured nut, and the brass-rod holes were enlarged for easier assembly (a ⅜" drill bit may still be required).

I added a printable mag catch that works reliably with the PMAGs supplied with the RXM. Other magazines were not tested.

Made my own back strap and refined MostlyPeacefulMachineShop’s magwell. It is backwards-compatible with his, if you don’t like mine, check his out!

The holster was further resized to accommodate socket-head screws securing the top plate, and the assembly was converted to use M5 hardware instead of the original barrel-nut system. Minor rework for printability.
