Description

Boost Me (for free)

If you like this design and want to support more practical prints like this, a Boost is highly appreciated. Thank you for supporting my work!

This model is designed to look like a common lawn sprinkler head while concealing a hidden storage compartment underneath.

The design consists of two parts:

  • Sprinkler-style cap
  • Ground spike with internal storage cavity

The cap screws onto the body using a G1 1/4 threaded connection and can be removed without tools. Inside is a spacious compartment suitable for many standard house, shed, and garden keys.

The pointed ground spike allows easy installation into soil. For best results, create a pilot hole first using a weed puller, screwdriver, or similar garden tool before inserting the spike.

The sprinkler appearance helps the container blend naturally into lawns, gardens, flower beds, and landscaped areas.

Assembly

Simply screw the cap onto the ground spike after printing.

The design includes lead-in chamfers before the threads and clearance adjustments optimized for FDM printing to allow smooth assembly on properly calibrated printers.

Notes

While the design has shown good resistance to moisture during testing, waterproof performance has not been formally tested. For maximum protection, sensitive items can be placed in a small sealed bag before storage.
