Description

A 45-degree angled wall mount for Ring Spotlight cameras. I needed to mount mine on a wall that runs parallel to an alley — without the angle, the camera would just stare at the neighbor's fence. This tilts it 45° so it actually covers the area you care about.

Installation

Uses the same mounting holes as the stock Ring bracket. To install the 2 bracket pieces together, use 4 M4 heat-set inserts and 4 M4 bolts. Attach the printed part to the Ring bracket with M5 bolts.

The camera slides onto and snaps onto its mounting plate the same way it would normally mount.

If your wall situation is different — say you need 30° instead of 45° — let me know in the comments and I can make a variant.

Hardware

  • 4 Wood/Drywall screws
  • 4 M4 heat set inserts (into the 45 deg mount arm)
  • 4 M4 bolts (Connect the printed plate to the 45 deg mount arm)
  • 4 M5 bolts (secure the Ring Spotlight bracket to the printed plate)

Printing

Print in ABS or ASA. This lives outdoors year-round and needs to handle UV, rain, and temperature swings. PLA will deform within a few weeks of direct sun exposure. PETG might work in a sheltered spot but I haven't tested it.

No supports needed, prints flat on the bed.
