Description

Mount a vinyl fence top rail to a wall or wooden post — no vinyl post, no concrete.

A problem-solver for the spots where a standard vinyl line post won't work — a wall or structure in the way, an existing wooden post, a run that came up short, or a mismeasurement. Screw the bracket to the wall (or post) and the top rail slides straight in and seats against it.

This is not a replacement for the manufacturer's installation method. Always use the proper CATALYST Emblem posts and parts when they'll do the job — they're engineered for it. This bracket is for the unforeseen: obstacles, tight terminations, mismeasurements, and odd transitions where setting a standard post just isn't an option.

Reverse-engineered from a 3D scan of a real CATALYST Emblem top-rail profile and rebuilt as a clean solid model. The rail channel runs the full depth so the rail seats fully, and the bottom slot stays open so the fence panel passes through.

Features

  • Rail slides in and seats against the wall or post
  • Open bottom slot — fence panel passes through
  • 6 mounting holes, counterbored + countersunk for deck screws
  • Tapered/buttressed body for strength; flat back mounts flush
  • Prints support-free, base flat on the plate

⚠️ Will it fit your fence? Made for the CATALYST Emblem vinyl fence top rail (sold at Lowe's) — reverse-engineered from that exact rail (~58 mm / 2-5/16" wide; see the dimension image). Other vinyl brands use different rail profiles, so measure your rail first if you don't have the Catalyst Emblem fence. DXF profiles are included so you can adapt it.

Not affiliated with or endorsed by CATALYST or Lowe's — independent aftermarket accessory, named only to identify the fence it fits.

Recommended print settings

  • Material: ASA (best UV + heat for outdoor life); PETG works if you don't have an enclosure
  • 0.6 mm nozzle · 0.3 mm layers (standard for 0.6) · 3–4 walls · 15–40% infill
  • Base flat on plate, no supports. ASA: enclosure on, ~250 °C / 90–100 °C bed, fan low, add a brim.
