The edges are quite rough. A lazy but effective method is to directly cut along the edges with a sharp utility knife, then trim with small scissors. If you are not a perfectionist, tidying it up to look decent is quite fast, but achieving absolutely no frayed edges might be difficult. I have tried a few colors for your reference
