Dometic Airing Card RM2551, RM2454, RM2554

Dometic Airing Card for Dometic RM2551, RM2454, RM2554 refrigerators AND two clips for your freezer to allow it to air out.
 

Did you try a Dometic Airing Card for your Dometic RM2551, RM2454, RM2554 refrigerators and find out it didn't work? Or you tried it and it sort of worked, but you thought "that can't be right!" Well, you were correct.
 

The Dometic RM2551, RM2454, RM2554 refrigerators all use a different door handle from other Dometic models such as the DM2652,DM2662, DM2663, DM2852, and DM2862.

The door handle part number for RM2551, RM2454 & RM2554 refrigerators is Dometic 2932670025 Black Refrigerator Door Handle.

Google your refrigerator and locate the Parts List for your refrigerator and see if the Door Handle is 2932670025. If so, this is the Airing Card set you need.

Why? The 2932670025 is wider than other models. The hole in the card should fit completely through the handle. If it doesn't the card only, sort of, kind of, mostly works.

How does the card work? The "ramp" on the card allows the card to slide over a white latch inside the refrigerator. This will keep the door from opening or closing allowing it to air out. However, you should not drive the vehicle with the card in place since it's likely that the door will open which could be "bad."

I have a Dometic RM2554 in my 2007 Roadtrek Popular so that's what I've tested this design on. 

Please use the RIGHT version if your door handle is on the RIGHT as you face the refrigerator and LEFT if the your handle is on the LEFT as you face the refrigerator.
