Description
This parametric connector is the perfect solution for joining two downspouts of the same diameter cleanly and securely. Thanks to the customizable parameters, you can adapt the model perfectly to your specific pipes directly via MakerWorld's customizer!
Customizable Parameters:
- Inner Diameter: Matches the outer diameter of your pipe.
- Outer Diameter: Defines the fit if a pipe needs to slide over it.
- Wall Thickness: Controls the strength and material usage.
⚠️ Important Note on Waterproofing: The connector seals reliably as long as the water flows freely. It is not designed for standing water or high backpressure (not pressure-resistant).
Print Recommendation: Use PETG, ASA, or ABS for UV and weather resistance. PLA will degrade in the sun.
I would have loved to provide a series of DN norm connectors, but as the specification states, the DN number is just a rough guide of the diameter and ensures consistency only within one product line. Thus, I have published the only DN 50 piece that was available to me, from producer Marley. If you found the right measures for your specific norm and producer, I would be happy to get informed and would add them to the list of print profiles.
