Escanor The Seven Deadly Sins
Print Profile(1)

Description
Escanor: The Lion's Sin of Pride
Escanor is one of the most formidable and iconic characters in the universe of The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai). His central characteristic is his drastic duality, which is entirely governed by the cycle of the sun.
- Power and Duality: During the night, he is a frail, insecure, docile, and submissive man. However, as soon as the sun begins to rise, his muscle mass and magical power grow colossally. At the exact stroke of noon, he reaches the peak of his power in a form known as "The One", becoming the invincible embodiment of absolute pride.
- Classic Appearance: In his imposing daytime form, he boasts an extremely muscular physique, standing out with his unmistakable red mustache and often wearing his classic green tavern uniform.
- Divine Weapon: He wields the Sacred Treasure Rhitta, a giant and richly ornamented axe. The weapon is so heavy that almost no one but him can lift it, being perfect for channeling and storing the absurd heat that his body emanates.
Escanor is the personification of extreme contrast: transitioning from the deepest and most poetic nocturnal kindness to overwhelming arrogance and unparalleled solar power during the day.
