Description
Simple Fix for a Common BMW E92 Problem
The retaining clip on the passenger-side window switch of many BMW E92 models tends to break easily during removal of the door trim or switch assembly. Once the original clip is damaged, the switch no longer sits securely in the door panel.
This 3D-printed replacement clip provides a quick and cost-effective repair solution.
Installation
- Remove any remaining pieces of the broken original clip.
- Slide the printed repair clip over the edge of the switch housing.
- Secure it with a small drop of super glue.
- Reinstall the switch into the door panel.
After installation, the switch is held firmly in place and functions just like before.
Print Settings
- Provided my print settings for the A1, keep in mind to print it slowly (20mm/s), otherwise it will rip of the bed.

Tested on BMW E92 passenger-side window switch assemblies.
