Print in place 6000 Ball Bearing

Description
Print-in-Place 6000 Ball Bearing (0.20 mm Tolerance)
I designed this bearing because many of the 3D-printed bearings I tested were either too loose and unstable or too stiff to rotate smoothly. This is my own design, which aims to provide a good balance between stability and ease of movement.
The bearing was test-printed with clearances ranging from 0.15 mm to 0.25 mm. After testing, I found that a 0.20 mm tolerance provided the best combination of smooth rotation and minimal play.
This is a fully print-in-place standard 6000 ball bearing that requires no supports and prints in approximately 20 minutes.

- Tested at:
- 0.12 mm layer height
- 0.08 mm layer height
Notes
This bearing is ideal for prototyping and testing mechanical systems that require a 6000 bearing. While it performs well for 3D-printed applications, I would still recommend using a metal 6000 bearing for projects where long-term durability, high loads, or sustained use are important.
If there is enough interest, I can also upload versions with alternative tolerances for different printers and materials.
Enjoy, and feel free to share any projects you build with it!
Standard 6000 Bearing Dimensions
- Inner diameter: 10 mm
- Outer diameter: 26 mm
- Width: 8 mm
These dimensions match the standard 6000 bearing size, making it suitable as a prototype replacement in designs that use conventional 6000 bearings.
