Welcome to V2 of my quick-release clamp. This entire system has been completely rebuilt from the ground up to take the original design to the next level. It is now engineered to be the absolute last accessory mount you will ever need to print. It combines an effortless quick-release system with a lightning-fast, one-handed Cam-Lever mechanism.

Best of all? It is now 100% modular. This isn't just a mount anymore; it is an entire ecosystem designed to organize, upgrade, and completely deck out your workspace or desk setup.

Don't like where your clamp is sitting and want to move it just a few millimeters over? Don't waste your time unscrewing and screwing it all over again. Just flip the quick-release lever, slide it over, lock it down, and go!

 

Need a headphone stand?

🚨 IMPORTANT NOTES - READ BEFORE PRINTING 🚨

• Use the 3MF File: Please download the provided 3MF file or open it directly in Bambu Studio / OrcaSlicer.
• Pre-Optimized Settings: The print settings embedded in the 3MF are highly specific and meticulously tuned for this model's mechanical tolerances. No AMS/multicolor unit is required!
• Do Not Modify: Changing the print orientation, infill percentage, infill style, or wall counts WILL compromise the structural strength of the clamp and cause it to fail under pressure. Trust the pre-set slice!
  
  
   

⚙️ Clamp Specifications & Performance

• Clamping Range: 
   
  • Small Clamp: ½" up to 1 ½"
     
  • Large Clamp:  ½" up to 2 ¼" 
     
• Material Elasticity: While standard PLA works for light duty, PETG is highly recommended for the core clamp. PETG provides the perfect balance of elasticity and durability needed for the cam-lever tension.
  
  
   

💡 How to Use the Cam-Lever (For the Perfect Release)

To get the most out of your Quickie Clamp, follow these easy steps for setup:

1. Lock the Lever First: Flip the cam-lever into its fully closed, locked position.
    
2. Tighten to the Surface: Screw and tighten the clamp down onto your desk or work surface as tightly as you feel appropriate. Don't be shy—the clamp is reinforced and can absolutely take it!
    
3. Enjoy the Quick Release: Now your tension is perfectly set. Flip the cam-lever open whenever you need it to get that instant, satisfying quick-release you've been waiting for.
   
   
    

🔌 Dual-Style Mounting System

The V2 ecosystem features two robust ways to mount your accessories depending on your placement preference:

1. Top Mount (Screw-On Only): Secure your top accessories using the included 3D-printed mounting screws. Install them after printing and secure them with the counter washers using the provided 3D-printed tool. Note: Do not overtighten! Just screw until firm.
    
2. Side Mount (Slide-In & Screw Hybrid): The side of the clamp features a fast-action female slide-in track. For permanent or heavy-duty setups, you also have the option to add the mounting screw to lock it completely rigid.
   
   
    

📦 The Modular Ecosystem

To get your space dialed in, here is the full breakdown of the currently released accessories and modules, starting with the ultimate desktop favorites down to the handy workshop essentials:

1. Headphone Stands (4 Styles, 6 Options): 
    
   1. Massive variety in sizes and forms to cradle your headset perfectly right off the edge of your desk.
       
2. Cup Holders (4 Styles): 
    
   1. Never spill on your keyboard again. 
   2. Choose your aesthetic: Low Poly, Basket, or Smooth.
       
3. Front-Mount Clamp Expansion Modules (4 Options): 
    
   1. Splits your front slide-mount into two independent mounts. Mix and match your setups: choose from 2x Slide-in, 1x Slide + 1x Screw, or 2x Screw expansions.
       
4. Pencil & Tool Holders (3 Sizes): 
    
   1. Keep your calipers, pens, and hex keys exactly where you need them.
       
5. Spool Holders (2 Styles, 3 Options): 
    
   1. A 3D printer's dream. Options include Bambu Lab Refill Specific, Regular Spool, or a print-only no-bearing variant. 
   2. Requires exactly 4x standard 608 bearings.
       
6. Small Storage Bins with Lids (2 Sizes): 
    
   1. Hide your loose screws, nozzles, and micro-SD cards cleanly away.
       
7. Top-Mounted Dish / Catch-All Trays (2 Styles): 
    
   1. The ultimate desk-side landing pad for your wallet, keys, or project parts. Uses the top screw-mount system.
       
8. Top-Mounted Coasters (2 Styles): 
    
   1. Keeps condensation off your workbench when you aren't using the full cup holder.
       
9. Bolt Pad with Built-In Impression: 
    
   1. Highly recommended! Features a recessed lip specifically sized for standard, self-adhesive round rubber pads. Grab a pack of 30mm x 1.5mm or 30mm x 2mm adhesive rubber or silicone discs to get a non-marring, brutal, slip-free grip.
       

10. Standard Clamp Bolt: 
     

    1. If you just like to be difficult and prefer doing things the old-fashioned, manual-screw way.

🛠️ Manual Print Settings (……For Non-Bambu Users……)

If you cannot use the 3MF file and must slice the STLs manually, you must use these exact settings to ensure structural integrity:

• Infill: 25% to 40% (Use Gyroid or Grid only—never use lightning or lines).
• Walls/Perimeters: Minimum 4 walls (Crucial for clamp arm strength!).
• Layer Height: 0.2mm works perfectly.
• Supports: Enabled. The model is highly optimized for minimal supports, but they are required for a clean print. (Check the 3MF for the exact pre-tuned support painting/placement).
