Blackout Roller Blind Light Gap Reducer
Print Profile(2)

Description
Tired of light leaking down the sides of your blackout roller blinds? So was I!
The gap between one of my roller blinds and the window frame was too wide and let way too much light spill in through the sides. So I designed this small clip that mounts on either side of the blind, just underneath the roll, to narrow that gap and block more light. Best of all, the blind still raises and lowers freely!
VERSION 2: I've included a double-roller version with two rollers per side to gently push the fabric even closer to the window!

Renter-friendly by design!!
The clip was designed to be installed using 3M Command Strips for clean, damage-free removal, perfect if you rent as I and most milennials do!
Prefer something more permanent? Double-sided tape works great too and adds extra rigidity.
Boost Me (for free)
Did this help kill the light leaks in your room? If so, please hit the Boost button to support the model and help others find it. It takes two seconds and means a lot. Happy printing!
Need more reach? Add an extension!
The model includes extension tubes that slide into the original clip to extend it, useful if your sticking surface sits too far from the blind's edge, or if the standard length creates wrinkles in the fabric.
Extensions come in 5mm increments and can be enabled from inside Bambu Studio, just clone the one you need (CMD/Ctrl + K) to make two or four units.
I've included extension tubes from 35mm up to 70mm or you could use the STEP file to make them even longer!

Make it your own
I've also included the STEP file so you can adapt the model to your needs :)
