Description
(Work in progress) DIY machine towerlight
This towerlight is designed to work with 24V DC.
For this custom towerlight for DIY machines will need the following components:
- 9 flat top LEDs per module
- 3 1,8k resistors in parallel per module (check your LEDs forward voltage, you might need to adjust these values)
- 1 BC337 transistor per module
- some wiring
- M4 threaded rod and nuts
- tons of patience
Each core side has 3 LEDs wired in series, 3 core sides connect in parallel to an NPN transistor through 3 parallel resistors to GND.
I'll attach wiring diagram shortly.
