Welcome to the O_G Airport Collection – a modular 3D-printed airport display system.

This model displays a stylized version of the DUS Airport / Düsseldorf Airport. The design is not intended as a 1:1 scale replica, but as a clean and decorative display model with high recognition value.

The special feature of this system:

The Universal Airport Base only needs to be printed once. Afterwards, different airport plates can be exchanged at any time.

This way you don't have to print a completely new Base for each airport. Instead, you only print the respective Airport Plate and the matching NamePlate. This saves print time, material and offers you maximum flexibility in presentation.

You can display a single airport, swap the airport plate at any time or print multiple Bases to place different airports side by side and decorate your office.

The DUS Airport Plate contains a stylized terminal structure with the distinctive curved main building, multiple terminal arms, apron area, runway markings, and other airport-inspired details.

🧲 Included Parts

  • Universal Airport Base
  • DUS Airport Plate / Insert
  • DUS NamePlate
  • prepared 77% version for smaller build plates, e.g. Bambu Lab A1 & similar printers

🛠️ Modular System

The system is designed so that future airport plates are compatible with the same Universal Base.

Example:

  1. Universal Airport Base print once
  2. Insert DUS Airport Plate
  3. Insert DUS Nameplate
  4. Later simply swap for another Airport Plate & NamePlate

This creates an expandable Airport Collection where you decide whether you want to present just one airport, several interchangeable airport plates, or multiple complete displays.

⚙️ Print Profile

Layer height: 0.2 mm
Seam: Rear
Walls: 3
Infill: 4% Gyroid

Important: For multicolor prints, please note the following setting:

  • Purge Tower → Rib Wall: OFF

Otherwise, the PurgeTower may no longer fit on the build plate.

✨ Scaling

The model can be freely scaled as desired.

Important: If you scale the model, all parts must be scaled by exactly the same value.

This applies to:

  • Universal Airport Base
  • Airport Plate / Airport Insert
  • Nameplate

For smaller build plates, a separate 3MF file with 77% scaling is already prepared.

📏 Dimensions

  • Universal Airport Base: 300mm x 315mm x 15mm outer, 284mm x 284mm x 9mm inner
  • NamePlate: 59.4mm x 9.9mm x 1.98mm
  • DUS Aiport Plate: 281.16mm x 281.16mm x 49.94mm
