Description
This MIK Universal Key is intended as a practical replacement key for MIK base plates.
For newer MIK locks, the old universal key with a small hole no longer works. The new base plates need a suitable recess at the front. This key is designed precisely for that.
It works with all new MIK base plates (I have not been able to test old ones), even with newer coded variants, provided the mechanism uses this key geometry.
The key is small, flat, and light. Thanks to the hole at the end, it fits directly onto a keyring. This means it's no longer left at home when you want to detach a basket, box, or accessory on the go.
Note for Makers:
The key is deliberately kept simple. Little material, quick print, everyday usable shape. Ideal as a small helper for bicycles with a MIK system.
