Oxóssi is an orixá deeply connected to forests, hunting, abundance, and sustenance in Afro-Brazilian religions such as Candomblé and Umbanda. He is also seen as a figure of knowledge, strategy, and protection, always associated with the bow and arrow and the strength of those who seek what they need from nature.
