iMac 27" & MacBook Pro 14" Backpack Mount

Description
Turn the back of your converted iMac 27" 5K monitor into a perfect docking station for your MacBook!
This modular backpack mount is specially designed for users who have converted their old iMac 27" 5K into a standalone external display. It uses gravity to securely clamp onto the original conical aluminum stand. It holds a 14" MacBook Pro (or similar sized laptops) safely out of sight, freeing up valuable desk space.
Key Features:
- Gravity-Locking: The clamp slides down the iMac stand and wedges itself tight. No screws, no tape, no desk contact.
- 17-Degree Tilt Compensation: The iMac stand is angled, but this mount features a calculated 17-degree tilt adapter. Your MacBook will sit perfectly upright.
- Modular Dovetail Joint: Prints in two parts. The heavy-duty 5mm dovetail stopper ensures extreme weight-bearing capacity.
- Cable Management ready: The open top allows easy access to all ports for charging and display connection while docked.
I hope you enjoy this design and that it helps keep your desk clean and organized! If you print this mount, I would love to see how your converted iMac setup looks. Please post a Make and share your photos! Also, feel free to remix the design if you need to adapt it for different laptop sizes.
Happy printing!
