Description

This Geneva mechanism fidget uses 3 individual Geneva mechanisms, all mounted on the same hub to achieve a beautiful and synchronized motion.  A Geneva mechanism turns continuous rotational motion into precise intermittent step by step rotation, which is fun to watch and interact with. Despite it's complexity, I managed to design this model to be entirely print in place, meaning that is works right off the build plate with no need for any assembly or external hardware. To demonstrate how this fidget works, I included a GIF in the photos of this model. This fidget is probably my coolest looking design yet. It uses various techniques to achieve a polished and futuristic aesthetic that looks good while in use and on display. This Triple Geneva Mechanism Fidget takes surprisingly little filament for what it is. Using only 22.47 grams of filament and 70 minutes of time to print, this may just be the best fidget for any mechanism loving maker.

    •
    • Send the pre-configured print profile to your Bambu Lab printer through the Bambu Handy app or Download and open the pre-configured print profile in Bambu Studio.

  3. Select Your Printing Options
    • Choose your filament type and color.
    • Select your print bed type (e.g., textured or smooth).
