Dabble lives in the Clear Canals of Zoora, where the water is so calm it sometimes looks like a mirror. He loves to dabble his beak on the surface to make small circles, because he says the water always responds in some way. One morning he saw three ripples appear alone in a pond, even though there was no wind blowing. Instead of spreading outwards, the ripples moved closer to each other until they formed a small circle, just like the one Tambo had seen converge under Zoora. Dabble slowly approached and touched the center with his beak. Then the water opened for an instant, revealing a very thin current that flowed out of the canal, crossed the rivers of Otto, and continued towards the sea where Tofu had seen the shadow appear. It was a new clue: the ancient path not only hid underground or underwater… it also knew how to guide itself along the surface when Zoora began to remember it. Moral: Sometimes, the gentlest signs are the ones that best show the way
