  • Wood Screws x 2: Length depends on the thickness of your cupboard doors.
  • Superglue Adhesive x 1: Only required if printing the handle separate to the lid. When I printed it, it did not require glue as it pressed into place very well however each printer varies so yours may require glue.

Description

Living in the UK much of the country has seperate green food recycling bins, which are ugly (see below! ) and do not fit in the kitchen very well.

    VS

As a result I decided to design a new bin which can be hidden away in a cupboard, simply mounted to the inside of the door with two wood screws (be careful not to used screws that are too long).

This model is made up of three parts:

  • The bin
  • An insert
  • The lid

Place the green plastic bag between the bin, and the insert to clamp it in place, then place the lid on the top.

In the model file, I have included two plates for the lid, one where the handle is assembled onto the lid already, and one where they are seperte. This allows the lid to be printed with far less supports, however the handle may need to be glued on. When I printed it, the handle was the perfect size to be pressed inot place, however every printer is different so you may need to try it and re scale it in bambu studio to get the perfect fit.

I hope you like it!
