Description
This adapter provides a clean and practical way to route the exhaust hose of a portable air conditioner through a window or balcony door. It is designed for windows with roller shutters: simply place the adapter in the lower opening and carefully lower the shutter onto the top edge.
Unlike simple flat panels, this model features a reinforced frame with diagonal braces. This keeps the adapter rigid even across a larger width while reducing unnecessary material usage. The central opening is designed for the exhaust hose connector or the original window outlet supplied with the air conditioner.
The model is split into multiple printable sections, making it suitable for standard-sized 3D printers. Once assembled, the stepped upper and lower edges help to keep the adapter securely positioned while still allowing quick removal when it is no longer needed.

Installation
- Assemble the printed sections.
- Place the adapter in the lower part of the window or door opening.
- Carefully lower the roller shutter onto the upper edge.
- Insert the air-conditioner hose connector into the central opening.
- Optional: add self-adhesive sealing tape around the contact surfaces for improved insulation.
Printing Recommendations
PETG or ASA is recommended for improved temperature resistance. PLA can also be used if the adapter is not exposed to strong direct sunlight.
