Have you ever seen a car that can drive sideways
This is a Mecanum wheel car It has four wheels, mirrored in pairs, and each wheel is filled with peculiar rollers Such a car can not only move forward, backward, and turn like a regular car, but also translate sideways like a crab This is all thanks to its rollers arranged at a 45-degree angle When moving sideways, the four wheels rotate in opposite directions in pairs, and the diagonally arranged rollers, based on the principle of force components, propel the car to move sideways This amazing operation is very useful in many confined spaces, such as warehouses However, it also has limitations: it is only suitable for flat ground and cannot go off-road
To complete this model, you need 1 set of CyberBrick Super Combination Hardware Set and 48 Maker's Supply 2x25 straight axles
The remote control for this model is compatible with the remote control for the author's other CyberBrick model RC Tank If you have already printed the RC Tank, you can reuse its remote control
Note: This model requires 90A TPU or PEBA to enhance grip Flexible filament is more challenging to print, and PEBA has proven to be more effective in actual tests
