Nerf Stryfe Dewalt 12V Battery Adapter (No Cut)
Print Profile(1)

Description
Decided to make an adapter to attach the Dewalt 12V battery to the Nerf Stryfe. This should work for 3S builds (which are usually around 11V).
I'm told that this will burn out the stock NERF Stryfe motors so do not do this mod unless you've upgrade to 3S motors that support 12V
The Nerf Stryfe Cover was an existing but I took inspiration from several other models to make this possible but all of it was modelled and recreated directly in shapr3d.

I then recreated parts of each model and combined it into an adapter. Since I also recently built the Gryphon, I observed how the wiring was hidden and utilized that same approach to hide the wiring.
Parts Needed:
M3x16mm (2) - Fake Battery Terminals:
M3 Nuts (4) - Clamps for wiring from Battery Terminals
.5mm copper sheet - To make Dewalt Battery Terminals https://a.co/d/08nFqJyq (you'll need tools to cut and drill it)
M3x4 Heated Inserts - To clamp down the Dewalt Terminals
Wiring
Optional XT30 Plugs
Various M3 Bolt sizes to clamp the Dewalt Adapter to the Nerf Stryfe Stock Mount
Spring for Nerf Stryfe Stock
Assembly:
Build the fake batteries and install them. Use the M3 Nuts to clamp the wiring. I also soldered the wires to the screws/nuts to ensure a better connection.

From there if you're installing an XT plug, now is the time to do it. Ensure the XT connector here is Male. Note what that when stock, positive is the bottom and top is negative. The batteries however are easy to swap so if you get this wrong you can still just swap the batteries to fix it.
Now follow the instructions to make the Dewalt Terminals if you haven't already done so:
https://makerworld.com/en/models/1522863-punch-and-die-for-dewalt-battery-terminals
Also press in the M3x4 Heated inserts

Note that I made some marks/indents to show whats positive and negative from the dewalt battery. If you have some ring terminals, they would work well here.
Also connect this to another XT connector and ensure its a female connector.
Screw in the ring terminals

Test fit everything and make sure it works before doing the final assembly:

The Nerf Stryfe Stock uses some flat screw heads and requires a spring to keep it locked. That said, the wire cover does hold it on somewhat.

Two different M3 screws (20mm and 12mm) are required to attached the dewalt adapter to the Nerf Stock Extender

After this is done, connect the connectors, power test to check polarity, and put on the wire cover
