Description
Overview
Modular, heavy-duty ramp system for robot vacuums to overcome high door thresholds. Designed for a 70mm rise with a 75mm wide frame width. The 15.6° slope provides smooth climbing without wheel slippage.
Features
- Magnetic Interlocking: Standard 10×3mm neodymium magnets (+0.2mm tolerance).
- Filament Saver: Hollow interior with 6mm walls — strong and material-efficient.
Print Settings
- Material: PLA or PETG
- Supports: YES
- Infill: 10% (Adaptive Cubic)
- Fuzzy Skin: Enable on the ramp top surface only — improves traction on the slope
Hardware & Assembly
For Magnetic (Modular) Assembly:
28pcs of 10×3mm circular neodymium magnets.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Pay close attention to magnet polarity during assembly! Double-check that the magnets on the ramp and the bridge face each other with opposite poles so they attract and pull together, rather than push each other away.
For Permanent (Glued) Assembly:
28pcs of 3D-printed Connection Pins (included in the files).
Change Log
- v1.0 — Public release
- v1.1 — Refined the side tech cutout on the ramp for a more consistent look across the design. Added a connector pin as an alternative joining method — allows parts to be connected without magnets. Reduced overall print time.
