XTEink X3 Pocket Case - FULL BUTTON PROTECTION
Print Profile(1)

Description
For those looking for the X4 case, it can be found HERE.
I designed this XTEink X3 case to fully protect all buttons and ports. The case can easily be slid on the back or front of the X4 for “pocket mode” or "reading mode".
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Unlike my X4 case, this case is designed to be slid onto THE TOP of the X3, since the X3 has a power button and reset button on the top that needs protection in the pocket. If you slide the case on from the bottom, you will not be protecting the buttons at the top of the device.
- You have to turn pages with the front rocker buttons. See note 3.
- Why aren't there cutouts for the side buttons? Since the side buttons are in the same location on the left and the right, when in pocket mode, the cutout would land on the switch on the opposite side, meaning it would have no protection. Because of this, pages must be turned using the front rocker buttons.
- Why is there no cutout for the top power switch? Much like the side buttons mentioned in note 3, opposite the power switch is the reset switch. So when you turn your device over for pocket mode, the power switch cutout would then expose the reset button giving it no protection. Because of this, you'll want to turn the device on and off while changing between reading mode and pocket mode.
- There are recessed channels for the side buttons, front buttons, and screen so that they do not get damaged sliding in and out of the case.
- You'll notice I've left space for the lanyard holes should you want to use a lanyard.
- No supports needed!
That should be all there is to mention. Enjoy!
PS: There is a lot of blank space on the back of the case just waiting for some amazing designs to be added for customization. Let's see what you can come up with! Post your designs in the comments!
