My drill bit set has a length of 600mm per drill bit. I screwed the holders 550mm apart from center hole to center hole. The holder can be used for shorter drill bits as well as longer drill bits; for this, the screw spacing must be chosen differently accordingly.
Those who don't care about the numbers for drill bit sizes and, for example, own a set from 8 - 20mm, can cover the holder with P-Touch labels.
