Description
Replacement tow hook cover for the Mercedes R129 AMG bumper.
This model was created from a 3D scan of an original part and is based on Mercedes part number HWA1298800105.
Please note: I have not personally test-fitted this part on a vehicle yet, so some minor sanding or adjustments may be required depending on your printer and material.
For the best results, print the part in a weather-resistant material such as ASA, ABS, or PA, as it is exposed to sunlight, rain, road debris, and temperature changes. The printed part will likely require some finishing work, such as sanding, priming, and painting, to achieve an OEM appearance.
I have included two print profiles:
- Fast Profile – quicker print
- High Quality Profile – 0.12 mm layer height with adaptive layers for improved surface finish and reduced post-processing.
