DF64 Gen 2 Catch Cup Holder — 51mm remix

This is a functional remix of the DF64 Gen 2 catch cup holder, specifically modified to perfectly fit standard 51mm espresso dosing cups (commonly used for DeLonghi and other 51mm portafilter systems).

As shown in image, the original stock holder often leaves too much of a gap or sits at an suboptimal angle for smaller aftermarket 51mm cups, leading to stray coffee grounds and static mess. This remix increases the tilt angle to bring the cup closer to the grinder's exit chute, ensuring every gram of coffee lands cleanly inside the cup.

🛠️ Recommended Print Settings

Since this part doesn't experience high mechanical stress or heat, standard filaments work beautifully.

• Material: PETG or PLA (PETG is preferred for better alcohol/water resistance during occasional cleaning, but PLA works great too).
• Orientation: Print flat on its base for maximum ring strength and easy printing.
• Infill: 15% to 20% (Gyroid or Grid pattern).
• Wall Loops: 3 or 4 (Ensures the mounting tab and ring structure are solid and durable).
• Supports: Minimal supports may be required under the mounting clip interface depending on your printer's bridging capabilities.

🔧 Installation

1. Slide your old cup holder up and out of the DF64 Gen 2 frame.
2. Slide this remixed version down into the stock mounting slots until it seats firmly.
3. Drop in your 51mm dosing cup, dial in your beans, and enjoy a much cleaner workflow!
