Carpuride W502 OEM Mount for Yamaha Ténéré 700 (2025+ TFT Models)

This mount was specifically designed for the 2025+ Yamaha Ténéré 700 platform with the new TFT dashboard, with one clear objective in mind: factory-level integration.

Most navigation setups sit too far away from the cockpit, look improvised, or visually disrupt the clean appearance of the bike. This design focuses on achieving an OEM-quality fit and finish, placing the Carpuride display in a position that feels as if it came directly from Yamaha.

The mount sits extremely close to the cockpit, aligns cleanly with the windscreen, maintains full TFT visibility, and keeps the installation visually discreet while remaining exceptionally stable.

The geometry was designed around the new 2025+ cockpit and TFT layout.

The mount attaches to the 12 mm crossbar, meaning it can technically also fit older Ténéré models using the same bar diameter. However, the positioning and proportions were intentionally optimized for the 2025+ generation.

Compatible with all Carpuride W502 variants sharing the same dimensions.

Design Philosophy

The primary goal of this project was to create a navigation mount that looks and feels completely integrated into the motorcycle.

Key priorities during development:

• OEM appearance with minimal visual footprint
• Perfect rider visibility
• No unnecessary spacing between cockpit and navigation unit
• Flush integration with the windscreen
• Unobstructed view of the TFT display
• High structural rigidity and stability
• Adjustable viewing angle

For the cleanest appearance, it is recommended to adjust the navigation screen angle so it visually aligns with the TFT dashboard.

The mount for the Carpuride unit was designed to match the exact width of the W502, ensuring a clean and precise fit.

Installation

The model consists of 2 printable parts, designed to fit on a single print bed.

No supports are required.

The recommended print orientation is already predefined in the project files.

This mount uses part of the original Carpuride mounting system:

1. Remove the original ball mount from the Carpuride bracket once.
2. Install this mount.
3. Reattach the original ball component after installation.

The result is a clean and secure mounting solution while still utilizing the original Carpuride hardware.

The mount attaches directly to the 12 mm crossbar of the motorcycle.

For an exceptionally secure fit, I strongly recommend applying one layer of double-sided adhesive tape around the 12 mm bar before installation. This significantly improves clamping force and creates an extremely solid, vibration-free hold.

The cable can be routed between the navigation unit and the cockpit, making it barely visible from the rider’s perspective.

Required Hardware

The assembly requires:

• 14 screws
• 10 nuts

The required dimensions should be self-explanatory during assembly depending on your preferred hardware choice.

No threaded inserts are required.

Printing Recommendations

Recommended Materials

ASA or ABS is strongly recommended.

Motorcycle-mounted parts are exposed to:

• High summer temperatures
• Direct sunlight
• UV exposure
• Constant outdoor weather conditions

Especially when parked in direct sunlight, cockpit temperatures can become extremely high.

PETG may work, but depending on climate and sun exposure, deformation over time cannot be completely ruled out.

PLA is not recommended.

Windscreen Compatibility

The geometry was developed around the original Yamaha windscreen to achieve the cleanest OEM integration and flush visual alignment.

However, the mount can naturally also be used with aftermarket windscreens.
