Kids Snap-Together Shapes No-AMS Multicolor 2 Size

Three classic shapes that snap apart and back together — and print in full multicolor on any printer, no AMS required.

A cube, a cylinder and a pyramid, each built from interlocking press-fit pieces. Kids pull them apart, mix the colors, and snap them back into shape — learning geometry, colors and fine-motor control while they play. All edges are rounded for safe handling.

Why it's different

• Multicolor without an AMS, zero waste. Each colored piece is its own plate. Just load a different filament for each plate — no AMS, no color-change-by-layer, no purge tower, no wasted filament. AMS owners can simply assign a filament per plate.
• Rounded, kid-safe edges throughout.
• Snap-fit, reusable. Peg-and-socket connectors hold firm but pull apart easily, so the set rebuilds again and again.
• Tolerance is set so that assembly and disassemby are easy for toddlers. Multiple versions tested to reach a perfect banlance between hold and ease of pulling them apart.

Printing the multicolor version without an AMS

Each piece sits on its own plate. Print plate 1 in your first color, swap the spool, print plate 2 in the next color, and so on. That's it — a fully multicolor shape from a single-extruder printer, with none of the purge waste a color-change print creates. (With an AMS, just assign a filament to each plate.)

Recommended print settings

• Material: PLA
• Layer height: 0.20 mm
• Walls: 2 · Infill: 15%
• Supports: the pyramid prints support-free; the cube and cylinder parts use minimal, easy-to-remove supports
• Brim optional; if a clean plate is used, there is no need to add a brim

Assembly

Press the pieces together by their pegs until they click. To reconfigure, pull apart and rebuild. No glue.

Ages

3–99. A building toy for kids and a satisfying little fidget/desk object for grown-ups too. Safety note: contains small parts — for children under 3, use the Large (105 mm) set and supervise play.
