Description
This is a replacement hose adapter for the air box on a Mercedes-Benz W129 SL500.
This is a press-fit part.
The adapter fits through the side of the air filter housing and provides a connection point for the attached hose. My original part was damaged/missing, so I designed this replacement to restore the connection.
For under-hood use, I recommend printing it in a heat-resistant material such as ASA, ABS, or PA. I printed mine in PA-CF, and it has held up well in the engine bay.
Tested on a Mercedes-Benz W129 SL500 with the M119 V8 engine.
If your vehicle uses a different air box or engine variant, please verify dimensions before printing.
