It bothered me that my beloved Sigma 150-600 DG Contemporary only had a short tripod collar, and that too without Arca Swiss compatibility.

To change this, I first screwed on an extended Arca Swiss plate, but it twisted quite quickly and was also not very handy.

I therefore like my new solution much better; the extension doesn't wobble because it engages the clamp from two sides and is then additionally screwed. The grip also continues with pleasant ergonomics.

 

I recommend using PETG, ABS, ASA, or similar durable materials and not choosing too low an infill.
