Description

Boost Me (for free)

Enjoyed this design? Gimme a boost and keep me creating! šŸš€šŸŒ™

Are you a sorceress with moon-related powers?

Or a dark elf who gets their powers from the night?Ā

Or just a normal human being who wants to accessorize with chains, loves the moon, and is cool like that?

If yes, then this special extendable moon-phase chain is for you! :D

šŸŒ™So I was designing an extensive wearable thingy with chains and stuff, and I decided to make the chain a bit more elaborate to give it more of a magical vibe. But after I finished, I loved the chain by itself so much that I decided to attach it to a bunch of dresses and skirts, and not to my surprise, it made all of them very witchy in an instant. So I decided to share it here separately as well, so you can enjoy it in your various customs! :)

šŸŒ™This design is:

  • Print-in-place for all the moon chain pieces. However, you can extend it as much as you want using single modules (stars and slightly larger chainrings).
  • Multi-part, and doesn't require AMS. You can opt for various materials and colors for the chain, moon, and star jewels.

šŸŒ™Print Notes:

  • Global quality: 0.16 mm
  • Quality for moons & stars: adaptive layer height, or 0.12 mm
  • Sparse infill: 15%, adaptive cubic
  • Lower your printing speed to about 60 mm/s for outer and inner walls
  • Brim: Inner & outer brims, with a brim-object gap of 0.15 mm for easier separation.

šŸŒ™Post Print Notes:

  • Wait for the pieces to cool off completely before detaching from the build plate.
  • Clean all the brims carefully.
  • Wiggle chain pieces slowly to ensure they're loose and not accidentally attached during the print.
  • Depending on your printer, the moons and stars might feel a bit loose in their place. Use a bit of glue to ensure they're fixed.

Hope you enjoy it a lot, and happy printing! :) šŸ„‚āœØ
