Description

The SCX24 seems to get most of the aftermarket love, but I really like the FCX24 (now FCX24S) platform and wanted to make something for it.

NOTE: this model is made for and tested on the FCX24/FCX24S Power Wagon chassis, and is likely to work with the FCX24/FCX24S K5 chassis with no-to-minimal modification. It has not been tested with, and is not expected to work with, the FCX24M platform.

This is a remix if domi1974's 1:9 SJ410 model (originally made for the Axia SCX10), reassembled from panels, stripped down, scaled down, and with body-side mounting brackets added.

The frame-side mounting brackets are based on digid's FCX24 body mounting posts, modified fairly significantly for specificity, plug-and-play functionality, and tool-less attachment at the expense of the versatility of the originals.

Assembly will require eight (8) 6mm x 2.5 mm round magnets, an adhesive of your choice (I've had good luck with Loctite's Plastics Bonder CA glue with the draw-on activator marker), and a couple short lengths of filament for the hinge pins.

Vehicle hinges (cosmetic), handles, and gas cap have been included as optional glue-on items depending on how scale you want yours to look (they don't come out as well as I would like when printed with the rest of the body's print orientation).

Enjoy!
