This adapter was developed to solve a typical problem in caravan and motorhome wastewater installations:
Many commercially available connectors significantly reduce the inner diameter of spiral hoses. This creates unnecessary constrictions, poorer drainage, increased tendency to clog, and the risk of backflow or blockages.
The solution shown here therefore deliberately takes a different approach:
Cross-section preserving transition
The full inner diameter of the spiral hose is largely maintained. No unnecessary constriction occurs in the transition area to the 28mm pipe system.
Replicated spiral thread
The inner contour of the connection replicates the thread or structure of the original spiral hose. This allows the hose to be screwed in positively, instead of being held only by pressure or clamps.
Optimized flow
The smooth transition calms the water flow and reduces deposits. This is a significant advantage, especially for kitchen wastewater or longer pipe runs.
Compatible with 28mm caravan pipe systems
The adapter serves as a clean transition from flexible spiral hoses to the 28mm pipe system widely used in the caravan sector.
Mechanically stable solution
The connection distributes forces better to the hose and reduces localized stresses at the transition.
