Aquarium Water Pouring Aid and Gentle Diffuser đ
Stop ruining your aquascape and kicking up substrate during water changes! This handy pouring aid easily hooks onto your aquarium glass. Water poured into the hexagonal cup is split up by numerous small drain holes, gently trickling into the tank like soft rain. Your gravel and soil stay perfectly in place.
Key Features and Design:
- Smart Water Flow: The three sides facing the glass are completely solid. This prevents water from running down the pane and leaving messy water or limescale stains.
- Gentle Dissipation: The bottom and the three outward-facing sides feature fine drainage holes to break down a heavy stream of water into many tiny, gentle splashes.
- Built-in Hanger: The mounting hook is attached to the middle solid panel, allowing it to sit securely on the rim of your tank.
Dimensions and Scaling:
- Original Dimensions: Height: 80mm | Max X-Length: 119.36mm | Max Y-Length: 127.83mm.
- Glass Thickness: Fully tested and optimized for 4mm and 5mm glass.
- Tip for Thicker Glass: If your aquarium has thicker glass, simply scale up the model by a few percent in your slicer so the mounting gap widens to fit your rim!
Verified Print Settings (Tested on Bambu Lab A1):
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm (First layer height: 0.2 mm)
- Walls: 3 Wall loops (Perimeters) for optimal strength
- Infill: 15% Infill density | Multi-line infill: 1 | Infill pattern: Grid | Infill anchor length: 400%
- Supports: Support-free at original size (80mm)! Tested on the Bambu Lab A1 using the slicer settings "Support critical regions only" and "Remove small overhangs". No support structures will be generated or needed.
- Important Scaling Note: If you scale the model up significantly, the drainage holes will expand too. Depending on the size, you may need to enable supports for the holes when upscaling!
- Hardware / Extra Parts: None required (Print-in-Place / Ready to use)
- Material Recommendation: Please use PETG or aquarium-safe PLA to ensure it is completely non-toxic for your fish. PETG offers the best long-term water resistance.

- Gentle Watering Aid for Delicate Plants: Perfect for freshly sown seeds or houseplants with loose soil, preventing deep holes from being washed into the potting mix.
