Replacement Corner Connector for Windhager Rhino Insect Screen Frame
While assembling my Windhager Rhino insect screen frame, one of the original corner connectors broke. Since I did not have a spare part on hand, I redesigned the connector and created it as a 3D printable replacement model
This model is intended as a practical replacement if a corner connector is damaged or missing
Compatibility:
This model was designed for the Windhager Rhino insect screen frame. Please compare the dimensions and shape with your original part before printing, as Windhager may use different corner connectors for different frame systems
Print notes:
- Tested material: PLA
- Recommended: PETG, especially for heat or stronger sun exposure
- Print profile: Standard Bambu Lab PLA
- Orientation: already correctly set in the file
- Supports: enabled
I successfully printed the part in PLA. For better temperature resistance, especially with direct sunlight exposure near windows, PETG is likely the better choice
Note: This is not an official Windhager replacement part, but a self-designed compatible replacement model
