- 1x 26mm Standard 1/4" tripod screw x 1:
Description
A clean, minimalist tripod hub designed specifically for the XGIMI Horizon series in two different Designs. It matches the projector's aesthetic perfectly and replaces bulky original stands with a sleek, modern DIY alternative.
Features
- One-Piece Print: Prints completely in one piece. No gluing and no screwing of the printed parts required.
- Easy Assembly: Print it, insert orings and the legs, and you're good to go.
- Custom Look: Choose wooden dowels for a warm Scandi look, or aluminum tubes for a clean, industrial tech style.
Bill of Materials (BOM) – What else you need:
- 3x Round wood dowels or aluminum tubes: 30mm diameter (length depends on your preferred height).
- 6x O-rings: Size 29.8 x 3.1mm or 30 x 3mm (locks the legs firmly in place and acts as a visual accent / non-slip foot).
- 1x 26mm Standard 1/4" tripod screw to mount the projector.
Print Settings
- Filament: Highly recommended to use filled filaments like PLA CF, PETG CF, ASA CF, or ABS GF for maximum stiffness and extra strength to securely support the projector's weight.
- Filament:
- PLA-CF is highly recommended and works perfectly for standard indoor setups (provides extreme stiffness against leg splaying).
- Alternatively, use PETG-CF, ASA-CF, or ABS-GF if you need higher temperature resistance (e.g., for very hot rooms, conservatories, or outdoor use).
- Nozzle Size: 0.6 mm (Highly recommended for fiber-filled filaments to prevent clogging and increase layer bonding).
