SNRC R2 + R3 Front Wishbone

This is front wishbone (Left and Right) is a drop-in replacement for the SNRC R2 and R3 1/10 scale RC touringcar.

This wishbone is more stiff than the original, which makes the car much easier to drive (=faster) on medium to high carpet tracks. 

Less traction roll!!

One other benefit of this design is the use of a metal pivot ball. This makes the sway bar assembly more free and more reactive and easier to tune perfectly.

To assemble you need a 3mm reamer for the holes for the pins. Ream the holes until the wishbone moves super freely on the pins, but with the least amount of slop.

You also need to tap M3 threads in the hole on the side where the grub screw for the shocks is located.

Tap M4 for the droop screw on the top.

I printed this in PETG-CF and it was very stiff.

I printen this in PPA-CF and it was unbelievably stiff, like metal.

I don;t recommend PLA, this will shatter or break too easily.

Nylons are also very suitable for this application, just print it and go testing! :)
