Update (11.06.2026): I have added a new lid variant as a separate print profile. From now on, in addition to the classic honeycomb pattern, a lid with a Monstera leaf is also available. The function and the base remain exactly the same.
A compact, reusable scent holder for essential oils – perfect for the bathroom, car, wardrobe, or desk.
This model is designed to hold standard cotton pads (cosmetic pads). The well-thought-out design with internal pins securely holds the pad in place, while the honeycomb pattern in the lid and the additional side vents ensure optimal and even scent distribution.
The lid features a cleanly designed, precisely fitting thread (with integrated tolerance for 3D printing) and can be smoothly screwed on and off.
Here's how it works:
- Place a standard cotton pad into the container.
- Drip a few drops of your preferred essential oil (e.g., eucalyptus, lavender) onto the pad.
- Screw on the lid and enjoy the scent.
- The cotton pad can be quickly and affordably replaced anytime you wish to change the scent.
Print Settings & Tips: The model is fully optimized for easy printability and requires no supports. It prints excellently and quickly on modern Bambu Lab A1 series printers.
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm (Standard)
- Walls: 3 to 4 (Important for the thread to be printed solid and stable)
- Infill: 15 % - 20 %
- Material: PLA is perfectly sufficient for normal use. If the scent holder is intended for the car (summer heat), I recommend PETG or ABS.
- Support: Not necessary. The overhangs and threads are designed to be printed without support.
