Description

This is my “Hello World” project.

The Fusion file is zipped because MW kept timing out when I tried to upload the f3d file. Also, there's a step file. Let me know if I uploaded these in a usable fashion.

The idea is that parents will have these “Reward Coins” in their pocket and give them to their kiddo when they earn them. There are some blank task plates you can add tasks to. I'm planning to use double-sided tape to stick the task plates on so they can be changed if needed. I'd like to make some ledges so the plates can slide in and “click” in place…

Please provide some ideas that would be useful so I can try to figure out how to update my fusion file.

My 6-year-old is really in to earning “checks” and trading them in for hot wheels cars from my legoroom/office. He's been using a giant poster board and loves being responsible for keeping up with what he's earned. He also suffers from major FOMO and decision paralysis, so he ends up “saving up” and likes to talk about how many checks he has and what he plans to save for and how many and guess what and imagine if…

with this, he'll be able to interact with his rewards a little more and see a physical representation of his efforts.

The plates are all separate because I hate seeing all the wasted poop to do a few colored dots on each layer, but if you have a tool changer or dual nozzle it'll print pretty fast as one unit.

this is my first time, so be gentle. It took me way longer than I will admit figuring out how to get this thing uploaded. failed multiple times and I still don't know where the f3d file is supposed to be uploaded. and don't even ask me how long it took me to try to clean up the fusion timeline and warnings and unlabeled sketches and random purple dots and lines that just would not delete.

if anybody out there prints this it'd be great to get some [gentle] feedback and maybe some better pictures than what I have…
