Description

Boost Me (for free)

BOOST this model if youd like to keep them free and accessible. Many creators are switching over to pay to use services but I love the Makerworld community so I only post here. All I ask is that you please like, follow, and BOOST because it helps save me a few bucks on filament! Thanks so much for all your support! You are all phenoms!

I have quite the request list of cats that you all want done so I hope you enjoy this one for now. Tiger claw aka Tiger Star is here!

Now the multi color one is one of my faves Ive done to date BUT Ill warn you. It takes a while to print and makes a lot of waste. I had to really tweak the settings to get it to print successfully on a P2S and a P1S. I personally printed it laying down and standing up and will include both of those profiles. Laying down made me feel safer that it would have more contact area on the plate as it printed, which worked, but the backside of the model has some support marks.

Printing standing up worked well also, but when I tried in Petg I had a failed print so I stuck with PLA.

The ONE COLOR version is a quick and easy print. I ran off 7 of them without any issues.

If you do a full color version, here are my suggestions:

DRY YOUR FILAMENT first, even if you think its dry… dry it again.

SCRUB your buildplate with dawn and DO NOT TOUCH IT w bare hands

If you have multiple printers near each other, do not print on both at the same time to minimize vibrations. The full color version switches filament about 700 times w the ams so I let it work in peace.

Lastly, do not let this thing print without checking on it… ESPECIALLY the first 15 layers.

I added more walls to make it heavier and sturdier which alsohelps on support removal so you dont accidentally snap a leg or tail.

POST YOUR PICS WHEN DONE!! This guy is so cool!
