60W LiPo/Li-Ion to USB QC 4.0 – MICRO Charger
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is a scaled-down version of a similar device from a friend Silver
Power Adapter, charger 6S-to-USB/Type-C
A compact device that allows you to use almost any FPV battery or lithium-ion battery (and more) as a powerful adapter-power bank with support for many fast charging protocols
The device accepts input voltage from 6 to 36 V, which corresponds to battery packs from 2S to 8S LiPo / Li-Ion. This allows it to be used with most batteries already in the arsenal of an FPV pilot or radio amateur. This aligns with the initial idea of this device, but with a bit of thought, the device can have almost endless applications
Features
✅ Input voltage: 6–35 V (2S–8S LiPo / Li-Ion)
✅ USB output with support for many protocols (list below)
✅ Suitable for most FPV and lithium-ion batteries (additional options are in the description below)
✅ Extremely compact size, negligible weight
✅ Simple and quick printing and assembly
✅ Low cost of components (at the time of writing, about 150-200 UAH)
✅ Ideal for field conditions, travel, fishing, camping, and emergency power
✅ For military, survivalists, stalkers, and other respectable people, a MUST-HAVE!
Supported fast charging protocols:
USB PD30 (PS)
Qualcomm QC4+/QC3.0
Huawei SCP/FCP
VOOC Flash Charge
SuperVOOC 2.0
Apple 2.4 A
Samsung AFC
VIVO9V2A twin engine
Mediatek PE20
Applications
- Charging smartphones, tablets, flashlights, GPS navigators, power banks, etc…
- Powering USB devices in field conditions
- Backup power source
- Efficient use of spare FPV and lithium-ion batteries
Additional application methods
By making a few simple adapters, the device can be powered from a vast number of source options. Such as batteries from cars, mopeds, APCs, tanks, helicopters ))), batteries from power tools, power supplies from various devices (if available, there's electricity but no charger), etc…
For this, in most cases, an XT-60 female connector, a bit of wire, and a pair of alligator clips are sufficient. By the way, this exact setup proved ideal in spring 2022 in Kyiv Oblast with these very charging modules

Also, with adapters, this device can power soldering irons, for example. 60 watts is enough for most tasks. Tested with the SH-72 soldering iron, which is already a fairly "serious" tool. Various USB soldering irons, of course, will also work without issues

(photo of such a cable for example)
With such a device, you can extract "all the juice" from any battery, for example, into your regular power bank. This can be extremely useful in extreme conditions when the fate of that battery doesn't matter
Also, numerous applications are limited only by your imagination. For example, USB flashlights

If you have printed and assembled this device, I would be glad to see the result and hear your feedback! 🚁🔋⚡
⚠️ IMPORTANT
🔴 DO NOT use low-melting plastics, MONITOR temperature during use
🔴 When working with LiPo and Li-Ion batteries, follow safety rules and use only serviceable power cells
This device DOES NOT have over-discharge protection for the battery
🔴 The user must independently monitor battery voltage and stop its use in a timely manner
🔴 Over-discharging a LiPo or Li-Ion battery can lead to its damage, loss of capacity, or complete failure
