Description

John Wayne also known as ‘Duke’  possibly the most iconic Cowboys of all time featured in one of his final movies ‘The Shootist’ from 1976

  • Printed in PLA 8% grid infill
  • Can be tilted back to maximise print quality
  • I've added a height modifier from his collar up that changes from a 0.20mm line height to 0.12 to gain greater detail
  • Tree type supports used

Came out as a beautiful print but i wanted to add more impact so finished by

  • Light sanding using 400grit sand paper under the hat brim and on the very rear of base
  • Light sand under chin and under ears
  • Coated in black primer
  • Dry brush effect off bronze acrylic paint (loads of tutorials on YouTube if you're unsure)

Hope you enjoy the print and i hope to have some more that feature ‘Duke’ in other iconic roles such as Rooster Cogburn
