The Holiday Plant Waterer is a clever system for automatically supplying moisture to your plants – ideal for times when you cannot water them. It is perfect for indoor and outdoor use, home, and garden

Thanks to its functionality, the system long-term supports the growth needs of potted plants without them standing in water or developing root rot

🔧 How it works

• The spike is equipped with a suitable wick cord (approx 4mm diameter)
• The cord is placed around the tip and guided downwards until it reaches the bottom of the pot
• The spike is pressed into a larger hole of the flowerpot (approx 10mm diameter)
• Thanks to its shoulder, it elevates the pot by approx 20mm
• The pot is placed in a tray or its saucer
• Approx 20mm of water is filled into the tray – the reservoir
• The wick slowly draws the water upwards and ensures a light, constant soil moisture
• The plant only takes what it needs – no waterlogging, no rotting roots

⚠️ Important note on plant selection

• The roots must not be too short. Plants with a very small root ball do not reliably reach the moist zone in the pot
• Freshly repotted plants, where the pot is still significantly larger than the root ball, may have problems absorbing water
• In such cases, the plant should first grow for a few weeks before the wick system functions reliably
