Go, Go, Power Rangers

---After I released the first version of my Ranger Dummy models, many of the comments were about how small the Rangers arms/muscles were.  So I had them go back to the Angel Grove Juice Bar, get the protein smoothie, and hit the weights! Now the Rangers have a more muscular look, ready to take on any battle.---

Dummy 13 has found a power morpher and become the Red Ranger!

Here is my design of Dummy as the Red Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.  Seeing the brightly colored Dummy models made me think of the Power Rangers right away, so I took a shot at modifying the armor for him.

Optimized and created as 150% size Dummy.  There is also a 100% scale print version available as well.

I printed in single color, as seen in the fresh off the printer photos. Then colored in with sharpie, and painted the various colors on the model with ArtEcho Acrylic Paint Markers. I apologize to my multi-color printer people, but I am just a dad with an A1 Mini and a single spool at a time capacity, multi-color is something I am working towards but not there yet!

Assembly is exactly the same as Dummy, except there is no middle neck armor part, as the helmet got in the way.  There is a custom neck piece and waist as well. Chest, forearm, and the shin armor sections have the diamond pattern on them for ease of painting/coloring afterwards. There is a left and right thigh, labelled in the slicer, but you will see if they dont line up properly while assembling.

Feet/boots are different than original as well, there is a left and right oriented foot and ankle. Smaller side of ankle joint faces inwards.

The shin and forearm armor only slide on to the skeletal structure from the squared ends (you cant insert the ball end through) as I wanted to make them as small as possible to reflect the Rangers suit style while allowing the shape and design to fit the Power Ranger look.

Thanks for looking, hope you enjoy.
