Description
This version is the longer evolution of my original 40mm to 25mm parasol adapter.
The adapter has been revised after several practical tests and is particularly suitable for deep parasol stands or models with widely spaced clamping screws.
The two-part design allows for easy printing even on smaller print beds.

Why this version?
The short version works without problems with many parasol stands.
This long version offers:
- better guidance for thinner parasol poles
- more stability for tall parasols
- better adaptation to deep umbrella stands
- greater tolerance for different screw positions

Support

Assembly
- Print top and bottom parts.
- Connect both parts.
- Insert adapter into the parasol stand.
- Insert parasol pole.
- Tighten the stand's screws through the side slots.
Notes
The adapter was developed for the following dimensions:
- Inner diameter of umbrella stand: approx. 40 mm
- Parasol pole: approx. 25 mm
Minor dimensional deviations may occur depending on the manufacturer. Scaling may need to be adjusted slightly if necessary.
OpenSCAD file
The OpenSCAD source file is included and can be adjusted if needed.
Using the variable

Additionally, the following parameters, among others, can be adjusted in the OpenSCAD file:
- Total length of the adapter
- Inner diameter of the umbrella stand
- Diameter of the parasol pole
- Position and size of the screw slots
- Tolerances for different printers and materials
