It stops stem wobble, handles intense road vibrations, and ensures your folding latch stays safely engaged during fast commutes.
š ļø Mandatory Print & Material Settings
This is a critical mechanical safety part. Do not use standard PLA. Follow these exact settings to prevent part failure:
Recommended Materials
- PETG or PETG-CF (Highly Recommended): Offers the perfect amount of flexibility to snap into place without cracking.
- ABS / ASA: Great for high impact resistance and UV protection against outdoor sun exposure.
- Composites (PA-CF / PET-CF): Incredible durability, but ensure your print temperature is dialed in for maximum layer adhesion.
Crucial Print Specs
- Infill Density: 70% ā 90% (Essential for structural integrity).
- Infill Pattern: Gyroid only (Distributes multidirectional stress evenly).
- Wall Loops: Use at least 4ā5 walls to ensure the outer hinge segments are completely solid.
