Ariete EcoWe – Replacement Grid (Fan Cover)

This is a replica of the grid (bin bottom) for Ariete Ecowe 2001 Smart Waste Bin. It's a straightforward print that fits as a drop-in replacement if the original is lost or damaged.

Print Settings

• No supports needed – the diagonal crossed pattern is specifically designed so that the model prints cleanly at a 45° angle, allowing all overhangs to self-support without any support material.
• Recommended orientation: 45° tilt on the build plate
• Material: PETG recommended since the bin uses heat to dry organic waste
• Infill: 15% is sufficient
• Layer height: 0.2 mm for a clean finish

Design Notes

The grid features a diagonal crossed design that serves a dual purpose: it replicates the design of the original Ariete EcoWe grid to collect percolating liquids while ensuring full printability without supports. The crossing diagonals mean no horizontal bridge exceeds a printable span, keeping the geometry clean and the print reliable.
